I Love My Piano
Project Background
Jake Keisler is a Nashville-based piano technician who loves to help his clients get the best use out of their instruments. Jake named his business I Love My Piano because it brings him joy to help the pianos that are part of his clients’ musical stories live longer and happier lives. He came to me needing a website that could connect his work and his ethos with the right clients, with a personality that matched his own.
The Process
Jake and I were excited to make the site feel human, with plenty of color, playful photography, interesting font choices, humor and whimsy woven throughout. My goal was to ensure that any site visitor could find what they were looking for on the site; Jake wrote all of the content in his own voice, no jargon necessary, and we put together a straightforward breakdown of services, a clean and clear inquiry process, and FAQs that answer the questions clients might want to check on before they reach out.
The Result
Jake's website gets visitors the information they need with a clear path from curiosity to booking, and there's personality at every turn; proof that taking your work seriously doesn't mean you can't have fun with it, too. Jake goes about his craft with intentionality and a genuine appreciation for people's experience, and collaborating with him on this project was the perfect embodiment of a core value that we share: serious work is allowed to be seriously fun!
